Western Philippines University President Julie Hope Timotea P. Evina with three other officials visited San Vicente early this morning for a courtesy call to LGU San Vicente in connection with the distribution of learning modules for WPU students who are residents of the municipality.

This is in compliance with the directive of CHED that there will be no face-to-face learning until the end of this year without clear indication whether it will resume early next year. To efficiently deliver these learning modules to its students, LGU San Vicente offered assistance to coordinate with barangay government and purok officers to ensure that it will be distributed on time with due observance of minimum health protocols.

WPU students that are residents of different municipalities including San Vicente are encouraged to go back to their respective municipalities where modules will be distributed. This is to ensure that they are safe with their families during this COVID-19 pandemic, and while the face-to-face learning system is suspended.

Students may coordinate with the LGU thru the Mayor’s Office or through the Barangay for details on the facilitation and distribution of the learning modules.
